All horses are turned out in cedar post and rail paddocks separated by 12’ laneways. Spacious run–in sheds provide shelter against inclement weather. In-door and out-door sand-paddocks area available for horses with special needs.
The Training Division at NR-1 is equipped with a 5/8-mile training-track and Starting Gates suited for breaking and early conditioning of young horses or for rehabilitating lay-ups. The team of riders that has been assembled here allows us to cater to horses at all stages of their racing career. Outdoor Exerciser.
Six barns on the properties accommodate weanlings and yearlings, horses in training and broodmares as well as horses with special-care needs and, presently, nine stallions. Three of these barns are located within the Training Division at NR-1 comprising a total of 42 stalls. The Main Training Barn faces the Carriage House and a full size indoor training arena that is in daily use during inclement days and during initial breaking.
The Breeding Division at NR-2 houses a Stallion Barn across from the 30 foaling-stall Broodmare Barns, includes a 6-stall stallion wing housing six of our Thoroughbred Stallions, and a 26-stall wing with Wash Stalls and extra wide aisles, housing yearlings and our Quarter Horse Stallions.
These areas are divided by a fully equipped Owners Lounge with piped-in TRN, facing the customized indoor 60'-Exerciser providing for the stallions' daily exercise. This barn is equipped with engineered air handling, central heating and fresh air systems.
