  • DANEHILL grandson and Breeder's Cup runner-up.
  • A winner of 7 races and $816,277, Darley-bred REBELLION (GB) retired sound after 26 starts from ages 2 to 5, winning from 5-1/2 to 7-1/2 furlongs and defeating six Grade 1 winners and 22 graded stakes winners while competing at 15 different racetracks.
  • Won or placed in 7 of 8 starts in England; won three in a row on the turf  at 4 in North America, including a victory in Belmont Park’s Steinlen S., then ran second by a half-length in the Phoenix S. [G3] in his first start on Keeneland's Polytrack.
  • At 5, he captured Keeneland's $400,000 Commonwealth S. [G2] going  7 furlongs in 1:21.17, just 1/5 off the track record, then headed west to take the Ack Ack H. • REBELLION (GB) is the leading earner and one of four graded stakes winners from the only crop by DANEHILL'S champion son MOZART. His dam, English group stakes winner LAST RESORT, is a daughter of the champion RIVERMAN champion son LAHIB from a high-class European family.

  • His first foals are yearlings of 2012. At Keeneland January 2012, his yearlings sold for $16,000, $15,000, etc., and his in-foal mares averaged $30,000.
  • "Rebellion (GB) was a strong competitor with an amazing burst of speed," added trainer Graham Motion. "A very genuine and sound horse, he never ran a bad race and tried hard every time.
